So needless to say, there wasn’t much in the way of great cars at Cruise Night this past weekend. In fact, by the time I finally made it to the Pony Corral, there were only five cars and one motorcycle in attendance.
Greg Bercier was lookin’ cool in his period-correct Monarch street rod, with period-correct leather jacket and greased-back hair. Just for fun, let’s see this in black white:
“This parking lot ain’t big enough for the both of us…”
Interesting fact about Cruise Night at the Pony Corral: Neither the show nor the restaurant has received a single complaint from the neighbors or the police in it’s 20-year history.
That’s it for today, but don’t forget about the MSRA’s annual dinner at Applebee’s on Regent Avenue, this Tuesday (May 27th). Although it won’t be an official show, rumor has it that at least a few ‘rods will show up for the event. The MSRA will also be making someone’s life a little happier that night–one lucky kid with special needs will be receiving a custom-built bicycle, courtesy of the Manitoba Street Rod association. Chow time is 6.30 pm.
