Several months ago, I first mentioned the possibility of a book on the hot rodding scene in Manitoba. A full-colour collection of the province’s best cars, trucks, and everything else that rolls on any number of wheels. Although there were mixed reactions to the idea, ranging from some people who demanded I write it this summer, to a certain group who e-mailed me repeatedly to tell me the book would flop, I still had faith that a book could be written, and that someone other than my Mom would order it.
So today I’m letting the world know that the first Sunday Cruise Fever yearbook is in the works. Not much can be said about it at this point, but it’s most likely going to be a softcover, full colour throughout, and priced in the $35 to $50 neighborhood. That’s all I’m willing to admit to for now, but keep checking back here for more updates.
